I can even design you an site that you can update with any knowledge of any type of programming. If you know how to "get by" with Microsoft Word, then you can update your own site. I have been designing websites part time since 1998. I have learned a lot about web design since the late 1990s including HTML, DHTML, XHTML, CSS, Flash, PHP, MYSQL, Javascript and of course design itself to name a few. I can also optimize your web site for search engine placement. I cannot guarantee you a top 3 placement in google, but I can get you into a lot of other good search engines with a good placement.
